Portland Bill to The Needles

Portland Bill, at the east of Lyme Bay, marks the eastern approach to South East England's incomparable cruising area. Weymouth is a traditional English Seaside resort and harbour, its Bay and nearby Portland harbour will host the world's best sailors during the Olympic Games in 2012. The Jurassic Coast between Weymouth and Swanage is visually dramatic and rich in fossil treasures. The chalk cliffs of Old Harry Rocks at Studland lie to the of south of Poole Harbour, with its many facilities for visiting boats. Christchurch Bay and Bournemouth, one of England's premier resorts, mark the eastern approaches to the Isle of Wight and the Solent.
