The South East corner of England between the Thames Estuary and Chichester is a busy passage area both for leisure cruising and the shipping and ferry lanes of the Channel. The Medway on the south eastern approach to the Thames has many facilities for visitors. The White Cliffs of Dover are a British icon, looking across the Channel to France, and the busy Ferry ports also offer fine facilities for cruising visitors. The south coast has many yacht harbours between Dover and Chichester, including those at the well known resorts of Eastbourne and Brighton. |
